Liverpool scraped past Swansea courtesy of two late goals in the League Cup fourth round on Tuesday night.
Mario Balotelli equalised with five minutes remaining, cancelling out Marvin Emnes’ well taken volley earlier in the second, and Dejan Lovren headed the winning in stoppage time.
After almost 300 minutes without a goal for the home side at Anfield, the sense of relief around the stadium was huge.
Philippe Coutinho was undoubtedly The Reds’ best player, while Fabio Borini, who assisted Balotelli’s equaliser, was also impressive.
Players and fans alike were happy to get through to the fifth round of the League Cup and now The Reds turn their attentions to trips to Newcastle and Madrid.

Good to be back playing after a quite long time.
Also I played my 249 game for the club so hopefully I will be able to reach 250.

The celebrations for Lovren's winner was a mixture of joy that we'd gone infront & relief that we didn't have to endure extra time! Haha

Generally played well, though a lot of the same issues. I.e. too easy to defend against/don't ask enough Q's of opp defence
