Liverpool fans took to Twitter after Sunday’s 4-3 victory over Swansea City at Anfield with a fair degree of caution owing to a poor defensive performance, but lapped up yet another three points for the Reds.

Jordan Henderson‘s 74th minute winner in front of the Kop brought about more sighs of relief and shouts of joy, little over a week after Steven Gerrard‘s late penalty at Fulham had allowed Liverpool to escape Craven Cottage with all the points.
It certainly was a fragile game defensively for the Reds, changed yet agin with Glen Johnson returning from injury to replace Aly Cissokho. In the second-half, too, the injured Daniel Agger made way for Kolo Toure.
Whilst Johnson started brightly, and played his part in Liverpool’s attacking threat down the left, but as the match was targeted by Swansea as a weak spot on which to aim their attacks.
Not many other sides will come to Anfield in the near future, score three goals, and yet walk away with a defeat, so Liverpool must take Sunday’s victory as a warning that the wonderful attacking threat of the team may not alway outscore the goals the defence is conceding.
But still, in the end Liverpool scored one more that Swansea — and so their fantastic league form continued. Liverpool are top of the Premier League form guide with four wins in their last six games, and three on the bounce.
There were many positives to take from the match — none less so than two goals for Jordan Henderson, who played an important part in the match throughout, and two more clinical finishes from Daniel Sturridge.
The England striker has now notched up 32 goals in his first 39 appearances for the club.

Despite us soldiering on I still maintain we need a proper DM and defensive overhaul this summer.

I dont see Agger or Skrtel continuing beyond this summer. Both are past their sell by date.

In short, #LFC can afford a .34 points per game dip & #THFC need a .42 ppg improvement. Not impossible that could happen but looks unlikely
