New photos of Liverpool’s away kit for the 2022/23 campaign have now leaked, with supporters divided over an out-there design from manufacturers Nike.
For away games next season, the Reds are set to wear an ambitious iridescent design over a white backdrop.
It may be the most divisive shirt ever produced for Liverpool, with Nike experimenting with their alternate kits for the 2022/23 season.
Previous leaks have confirmed the basic design for the kit, but now, courtesy of Turkish website esvaphane, official images of the away shirt have been leaked:

The images appear to be for either Nike’s official website or online retailer ASOS, with the latter having already inadvertently leaked the third kit via a TikTok post from one of their models.
Iridescent patterns cover the entire front of the shirt, with black accenting for the sleeve cuffs and logos including the LFC badge and Standard Chartered sponsor.
On the back, there is a white panel to accommodate player names and numbers, with the updated Hillsborough ’97’ tribute prominent on the neck.
Unsurprisingly, given the nature of the design, the immediate reaction on social media has been mixed:
not a fan of the back but otherwise really nice https://t.co/IUq15sDoyW

Worst kit weve ever had by a country mile wtf ?

If the back was just completely white it would look a lot better in my opinion…not a fan of the awkward cut-off. I’m sure it’ll look better with a name/number filling the gap though.

Why is it impossible for one of the biggest companies in the world with infinite resources to make a set of 3 good kits https://t.co/kj9AZbjJWy

Might look better on the players irl but from these pictures this kit looks horrible. https://t.co/lJJPLDjGQu

This’ll be the kit we score like 4 or 5 a game in, like the orange third kit in 17/18. Mark my words. https://t.co/1lI2t8MT1i
