The Liverpool Legends will take on Milan Glorie in a charity clash at Anfield this afternoon, with a host of genuinely legendary figures representing both.
The Reds and AC Milan are familiar foes from recent decades, most notably the two Champions League finals in Istanbul in 2005 and Athens in 2007.
England and Italy’s two historic sides took home a European Cup apiece from those two meetings, with Liverpool’s haul now standing at five and Milan’s at seven.
Seventeen players from that miraculous night in Istanbul will turn out on Merseyside today, as part of a star-studded list of ex-professionals.
Here’s every Liverpool and AC Milan legend scheduled to feature in the game in aid of the LFC Foundation.
