“Nice one, Gareth Southgate” – Liverpool supporters react to Adam Lallana injury blow

With Adam Lallana sidelined for up to a month with a thigh injury picked up on England duty, Liverpool supporters were unsurprisingly left frustrated.

The 28-year-old featured heavily for the Three Lions in their clashes with Germany and Lithuania, and is believed to suffered the injury in the closing stages of the latter.

This serves as a major blow to the Reds in the lead up to Saturday’s Merseyside derby, as well as their push for a top-four finish this season.

Liverpool could be without their key midfielder for five games if he misses a month of action, and given the injury came while on international duty, the disappointment is magnified.
