Nathaniel Clyne has completed his loan move from Liverpool to Bournemouth, following Dominic Solanke in making an exit to the Cherries on Friday.
News suddenly emerged during Friday afternoon that the Reds were in talks with the south coast club over a deal for the remainder of the season and it has been completed in swift fashion.
Clyne will see out the rest of the 2018/19 season with Bournemouth, having made four appearances in the Premier League this term for the Reds—all in December.
The Evening Standard‘s David Lynch reports that there is no option to buy included in the loan deal.
Clyne’s departure is the second today to Bournemouth, after striker Solanke made a £19 million switch to the Cherries.
The right-back still has a further one year to run on his contract after the current campaign. He has played 103 times for the Reds, scoring twice.
It leaves Liverpool with fewer options at full-back to see out this season with, but Jurgen Klopp clearly feels he has enough cover.
