The Liverpool U23s, U19s and U18s have all reached the midway point of 2018/19, and here’s how the academy sides have performed so far in numbers.
While the first team are not provided the luxury of a break over winter, it is much different at academy level, with the youth sides not back in action until January.
The U23s next take on Tottenham on January 7, while the U18s welcome Sunderland to Kirkby on January 11 and the U19s await the draw for the last 16 of the UEFA Youth League, which is held on February 22.
It has been a mixed campaign for the young Reds, with the U23s struggling after a host of changes and the U18s flying as Barry Lewtas eyes the league title.
We assessed every game at the Liverpool academy in the first half of the campaign to find out the key players, best scorers and super-subs.
