Liverpool completed an impressive second-half comeback to claim a huge three points with a 2-1 win at Crystal Palace, much to supporters’ delight.
Crystal Palace 1–2 Liverpool
Premier League, Selhurst Park
March 31, 2018
Goals: Milivojevic (pen) 13′; Mane 48′, Salah 84′
The Reds arrived at Selhurst Park looking to pick up from where they left off before the international break, and Klopp’s side did that with a hard-fought win over the Eagles.
Luka Milivojevic’s early penalty gave the hosts a half-time lead after Loris Karius fouled Wilfried Zaha for the spot-kick and Sadio Mane saw his header disallowed for offside in a frustrating first half.
But shortly after the restart Mane wasn’t to be denied, as the Senegalese drew the Reds level after converting with a sharp finish from James Milner’s ball across the face of goal.
And just when the game seemed destined to peter out to a draw, man-of-the-moment Mohamed Salah stepped up to become the hero yet again as he finished from close range to give the Reds all three points.
It was a priceless victory for Liverpool and here’s how supporters reacted to the win across social media and on our forums.
Fans praised the battling spirit shown to complete the second-half turnaround…

What a result. Feels very much like Stoke away last season. One of those wins that feels like much more than 3 points.

Full time. 2-1, three points and that cliche about digging out results

Palace is a horrible place to go but that’s the third time in 4 seasons that Liverpool have come from behind and won at Selhurst Park

Salah has now scored the same or more goals than seven other Premier League teams. What a man.

Robertson my MOTM. Relentless up and down the left wing all game. Fantastic cut back to assist Mo’s winner.

That is huge. The game I feared the most along with Chelsea. 3 points after an international break and an early kick off.

Massive, that. That's the kind of result you're used to seeing our rivals do. Not sure I've been as excited about a week of games as these coming up. Yes The Reds.
