Liverpool bounced back from back-to-back defeats against Swansea and West Brom to beat Huddersfield 3-0 at the John Smith’s Stadium on Tuesday.
Huddersfield 0-3 Liverpool
Premier League, John Smith’s Stadium
January 30, 2018
Goals: Can 26′, Firmino 45′, Salah 78′
Liverpool dominated possession in the first half and deservedly went 2-0 up thanks to a thunderous strike from Emre Can and a cheeky near-post finish from Roberto Firmino.
The Reds remained in control for the second half and added a third goal when Can was awarded a penalty—which Mo Salah duly dispatched.
They then held on to maintain a clean sheet and record a comfortable 3-0 victory.
Here are all the reactions from supporters on social media…
Mane’s form was a concern but Can and Firmino were praised…
Mane still off the boil. Need him back to his best so, so badly.

That’s outrageous from Firmino. What a finish.

Firmino has no right scoring that.

With a comfortable lead, fans were just hoping to avoid mistakes…
Exactly what we needed. Few more goals, put the game to bed, get the feel good feeling back, Klopp hugs, no twitter meltdowns, bed

Decent performance from #LFC tonight putting us back on the right track after a dreadful week! Three more goals added to the tally & a clean sheet for Karius & the defence which will increase their confidence going into Sunday's game! Up the Reds! ??

Composed and controlled performance. Midfield functioned well, Can with a complete performance clear MOTM. Great to get back to winning ways.

Good win for #LFC, time to put that two game blip well behind them.

“Great result – well controlled too. Scoring three is fantastic especially when Mane and Salah weren’t on top of the game…”
– Abdul Sobur on Facebook.
Really professional performance when it was needed tonight. Thought Henderson was very good – won so much in midfield and fizzed the ball about.
