Liverpool U23s winger Harry Wilson has joined Championship side Hull City on loan for the rest of the season, after signing a new contract.
The Wales international has been a regular for Neil Critchley‘s youngsters this campaign, but was clearly operating above his level.
But despite training under Jurgen Klopp of late, the 20-year-old failed to add to his solitary first-team appearance, underlining a need for a January loan move.
Wilson was still at Melwood on Wednesday afternoon, but Hull made a late approach to bring the goalscorer to the KC Stadium for the remainder of 2017/18.
The two clubs confirmed the switch shortly before deadline, with Wilson also agreeing new terms with Liverpool before departing.

“As soon as I found out that Hull City were interested I really wanted to make the move, so thankfully everything got done fairly quickly,” he told HullCityTigers.com.
“I feel that it’s the right time for me to make this move, making the step into a first team changing room and into the Championship.
“It’s a great challenge and one that I’m looking forward to.”
The Reds were eager to secure his long-term future ahead of any exit, with Klopp still clearly considering Wilson an option in the coming seasons.
Hull are currently mired in another relegation battle after dropping down to the English second tier last summer, with former Southampton manager Nigel Adkins taking over in December.
Good luck, Harry!
