“Take a bow, Emre”, “Massive 3 points” – Liverpool players react to 1-0 victory over Watford

The Liverpool squad were in an unsurprisingly buoyant mood after Emre Can‘s wondergoal sealed a 1-0 win over mid-table Watford on Monday night.

The Reds travelled to Vicarage Road safe in the knowledge that top-four rivals Man United and Man City had both dropped points the previous day.

Able to take control of the battle for a Champions League spot, all Liverpool needed was to edge out a Watford side who had all but secured their Premier League survival.

And though they made it difficult for themselves, struggling to carve open a stoic Hornets defence, a moment of magic from their No. 23 proved enough to take the three points.

Here’s how Jurgen Klopp‘s side marked the victory on social media.
