Liverpool youngster Rhian Brewster continued to showcase his impressive potential, with two goals for England U17s in their European Championship opener on Thursday.
England fell behind to opponents Norway, early on, but Brewster equalised on nine minutes when he poked home from close range after good work by Man City‘s Jadon Sancho.
The 17-year-old then put the Young Lions ahead on 35 minutes with a lovely left-footed finish, again after good work from Sancho down the left.

Steven Cooper’s side added a third through City’s Phil Foden late on to secure three points in their opening game at the tournament in Croatia.
England face Ukraine on Sunday, before rounding off their group against Netherlands on May 10.
With the Euros running until May 19, Brewster is likely to miss the Reds’ last three games of the season, thus ruling out a debut for the talented teenager this season.
He could though join up with the Reds in time for their post-season friendly in Australia which is played in Sydney on May 24.
Speaking to This Is Anfield in January, former Liverpool under-23s boss Michael Beale – who was instrumental in bringing Brewster north from London – outlined his immense potential.
“His finishing is excellent and very clinical and calm,” explained Beale. “He is not just a number 9, he can play 10 or on the sides and be equally effective. I think he has an outstanding future.”
