Liverpool recorded a thrilling 4-2 victory against Crystal Palace as five goals were scored in the first half.
Emre Can and Alberto Moreno, who came in for Giorginio Wijnaldum and James Milner, combined in the opening fifteen minutes to score Liverpool’s first goal.
However, a mistake from Dejan Lovren immediately afterwards gave James McCarthur the chance to equalise and he didn’t hesitate.
Liverpool’s centre-back made up for his mistakes just moments later though, as he headed in a goal to make it 2-1.
Poor defending led to another McCarthur goal before the halfway point but Joel Matip replied with Liverpool’s third in a thrilling opening 45 minutes.
Roberto Firmino rounded off the game with a 71st minute goal to seal a 4-2 victory.
Here are some of the best reactions on Twitter throughout the game:
Moreno answered his critics by providing Can with an assist for the first goal.
Emre Can finishes off fantastic build-up from #LFC. Alberto Moreno instrumental and great vision from Phil Coutinho.

This is why I said Emre Can was the one to start for me. Gets better every game of the season.

It was an eventful few minutes as Lovren’s mistake led to a Palace equaliser before the centre-back headed home to put Liverpool back in the lead.
Fair shout to Lovren. Made up for his mistake #LFC

Liverpool’s lead didn’t last long again as McCarthy scored a second equaliser for Palace.
We've just seen the good and bad of Moreno now. Great for the goal, but he simply cannot get tight to defenders. #CannotDefend #LFC

As exciting as watching #LFC games is, Klopp has to resolve these defensive frailties to seriously compete for the title.

Wow. 3-2 and it's not even HT yet. Could be the game of the season we're witnessing right here. Let's hope we end up on the right side of it
