Liverpool’s new Main Stand is developing well and towers above the existing stadium, as shown in these new images taken from Airviews Photography recently.
Once completed next summer, the new Main Stand will take Anfield’s capacity to just below 54,000.
Work began in September to install the terraces for the upper tier of the new stand and that continues now, after a slight delay due to four home games in a fortnight recently.
Once complete, the new Main Stand will house 20,000 spectators – making it the biggest of its kind in Europe.
