We round up how the loaned members of the Liverpool squad have performed for their temporary clubs over recent fixtures with some positives from the Reds loanees.

Liverpool’s talented Belgian prospect has continued to endure a tough time of it at Lille, where he is without a goal in 18 games and has contributed only four goals and two assists in 28 appearances in all competitions so far this season.

The 19-year-old’s drop in form has seen him come in for criticism from his own supporters at times, and more importantly, Origi has found himself out of the starting team and on the bench which has seen Liverpool’s £10million man fail to complete 90 minutes of football in any of the last six matches.
Three of those games also include the Belgium international – who hasn’t registered on the score-sheet since September nor assisted since December in Ligue 1 – being an unused substitute for the league’s second lowest scorers and Origi’s campaign with Rene Girard’s side has certainly been less productive than hoped.
Andre Wisdom
Despite a change of manager with Tony Pulis replacing Alan Irvine in January, Wisdom has remained a regular starter for relegation threatened West Brom where he has continued to feature predominantly at right-back.
After starting every Premier League game available for, the 21-year-old dropped to the bench for the first time this season last Sunday in Albion’s 2-2 draw with Burnley following a poor performance in a 3-0 defeat to Tottenham at the end of January, which saw the Liverpool loaned defender jeered when replaced after 60 minutes.
Despite coming in for criticism, Wisdom – who will be hopeful of regaining his place in the starting XI – has made only one defensive error all season so far and since the turn of the year, has created more chances than any of the Baggies’ defenders
Joao Carlos Teixeira
After a short period of no involvement for loan side Brighton, the Portuguese play-maker has enjoyed increased amount of action and productivity over the last month-and-a-half.
Recording five starts out of the last nine league games, the Reds loaned star has claimed two man of the match awards, two goals – an excellent brace against promotion chasing Ipswich Town – and an assist playing mostly as an attacking midfielder for Chris Hughton’s team who still linger dangerously just one place above the relegation zone.

Despite inconsistent inclusion for the Seagulls, the Portugal under-21 international has started to reproduce the good form showed upon arrival at the start of the season and he will be hoping to cement his place in the starting team as a result.

Luis Alberto
Following a period of little involvement in which Alberto featured just twice in nine games, the attacking midfielder has enjoyed more game time over the last two months.
Making five appearances in the last seven league matches – but only starting only once – the 22-year-old grabbed just his second goal of the season against Elche in December – just 27 seconds after coming on – but has since failed to contribute another goal or a single assist.
The Spaniard’s lack of production has seen him benched for the last two matches, but despite his lack of game time of just six starts and seven substitute appearances, the Spaniard still remains the club’s most creative player in the league this season having created 15 chances and he will be hoping his team’s 4-1 loss against Levante last time out results in his reintroduction to Javi Gracia’s side.
Iago Aspas
Liverpool’s loaned striker has endured a mixed time since joining Sevilla having failed to score in La Liga all season but impressing in cup competitions, and on his first full league match just two weeks ago, Aspas found the net much to his relief.
His smart turn and finish proved to be the winner in a 3-2 triumph over Espanyol and a turning point on an individual note too – as the 27-year-old then made it two goals in two games when he scored from close range against Real Madrid in the Bernabeu in a narrow 2-1 loss – taking his tally for the season to 10 goals in all competitions.

Apsas’ upturn in form in La Liga saw him rewarded with just his second start of the season last time out, but he was substituted having made little impact as his side slumped to a 2-1 defeat against Getafe, however he will be hoping his feat of two goals in three games increases his opportunities for further action over the coming games alongside continuing his excellent cup competition form.

Sebastian Coates
An injury hit first five months came to a welcome end in December when Coates made his first Premier League appearance for Gus Poyet’s side, but the Uruguayan has failed to build on his game time since.
The cultured defender completed three 90 minutes in the festive month against Man City, Newcastle and Hull, but has only played 13 minutes of Premier League football since the turn of the year – coming on as a substitute in the return fixture at the Eithad Stadium on New Years’ Day.
Coates did play 90 minutes in Sunderland’s 0-0 FA Cup stalemate against Fulham too, but since the flurry of match minutes last year, the Reds loaned man has featured on the bench for the most part as he settles for being a back up to first choice picks John O’Shea, Wes Brown and Santiago Vergini.
Tiago Ilori
Portuguese prospect Ilori has flicked from one extreme to the other during his time at French side Bordeaux, where after three starts and a substitute appearance, the centre back found himself cast aside.
Featuring for the club’s reserve team on occasions, Ilori failed to play a single minute in 13 league games dating back to October before regaining his place in the team which has seen him record back-to-back 90 minutes in the last two Ligue 1 matches, and he has helped his side to four points from a possible six, keeping a clean sheet in the process.

The pacey central defender signed from Sporting Lisbon has made only six starts so far this campaign, but after his recent inclusion and the promising results which have followed, Ilori will be hoping to continue in the Bordeaux backline for as long as possible before returning to Anfield where a make-or-break pre-season awaits.
Rafa Paez
After a promising start to life with Serie B side Bologna, where Paez made four starts in the first five fixtures, the Spanish defender’s time with the promotion chasers didn’t go to plan.
Featuring only three times in the last 18 matches due to a combination of injury and falling out of favour, the former Real Madrid man saw his opportunities frustratingly limited for the vast majority.

The stylish centre-back did start in Bologna’s league win against Virtus Entella just three matches ago however, completing 90 minutes, but that was his last appearance for the club as he agreed to terminate his loan with the Italian side to join Spanish top-flight outfit Eibar for the rest of the season in search of more match minutes.

The 20-year-old is yet to feature for his new club who currently sit proudly in 8th place in the Primera division table.
Cheltenham Trio: Jones, Stewart and Dunn
The three loanees impressed greatly after making an immediate impact upon joining League Two side Cheltenham on initial one-month loan moves.
All three hit the ground running which saw Dunn and Stewart both score on their debuts and the threesome play three matches in a row, but it was Jones who featured consistently playing 90 minutes five times alongside one substitute appearance, and Dunn also impressed scoring three in five matches, though Stewart played just three times during the loan spell.
Jack Dunn and Kevin Stewart returned to Anfield due to needing treatment on injuries picked up while at Whaddon Road, though Jones has extended his deal until the end of the season with Paul Buckle’s relegation threatened side who he will need to help avoid a potential drop out of the football league in the remaining 17 matches.
