Liverpool winger Oussama Assaidi is going to Stoke City on loan for the second consecutive season.
The Reds were hopeful of selling the Moroccan international on a permanent basis after agreeing a fee with the Potters earlier this summer, but personal negotiations pushed the deal back to a loan move.
It is understood that Liverpool will receive £1 million for the loan and Stoke will also pay Assaidi’s wages for the rest of the season.

In a transfer deadline day of little activity for Liverpool, defender Sebastian Coates went to Sunderland on loan for the rest of the season, whilst Fabio Borini turned down a move to QPR to stay at Anfield.
