Fabio Borini will remain a Liverpool player after failing to agree personal terms with Queens Park Rangers, according to reports on Monday evening.
Earlier in the day, Liverpool had agreed a £12 million fee with QPR for the sale of the Italian forward, but the deal reached a hiccup when Borini was negotiating personal terms.

Borini, who spent last season on loan at Sunderland, will remain at Anfield and presumably be the club’s fourth choice striker, behind Daniel Sturridge, Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert.
Borini was Brendan Rodgers’ first signing when he came to the club in the summer of 2012, but has made just 20 appearances since, scoring two goals.
