Kenny Dalglish bemoans bad luck of another Liverpool FC defeat

Kenny Dalglish was obviously dissapointed by Liverpool’s third consecutive league defeat as they went down 1-0 at Sunderland on Saturday afternoon.

Nicklas Bendtner’s second half goal was the winner for the Black Cats as a miserable Reds performance was produced.

Dalglish told the BBC after the game, “I think it was a frustrating afternoon for everyone. It was a high tempo game and was always going to be a bit of fortune that won it.

“We reacted well when we went behind, but sometimes you just don’t get the bounce of the ball. I think we played as well as them.

“There wasn’t much in it at all, we tried to get something out of it but we were playing a team that’s on a good run. Sometimes you get the luck, sometimes you don’t.

“We’ll move onto the next game and it would be nice to see some good fortune.”

Is it bad luck, or are Liverpool simply just not good enough? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below, on our Liverpool FC forums or on TWitter @thisisanfield.
