Masch uncertainty over future

Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano has admitted he is not completely certain whether his future lies at Anfield, but insists he is fully focussed on winning the league right now.

The Argentina captain has been inspirational for the Reds this season, but says the time may come for him to move on from Merseyside.

He told Sky Sports News, “For now the main thing is to try to win the league and then I will have to think about what I am going to do but I am good here.

“I can’t say anything bad about Liverpool as a city or as a club because they were great with me but obviously you never know what is going to happen because if some club can come here with a good offer and the club say ‘ok you have to go’ then I will leave – you don’t know.”

Liverpool have been recently linked with signing Mascherano’s international teammate, Carlos Tevez, who’s loan deal at Manchester Utd expires at the end of this season.
