Liverpool’s Premier League opener among 6 fixtures moved for TV in August & September

Liverpool’s opening Premier League game of 2018/19 will be shown live on Sky Sports, with five others also on television in August and September.

Although the season’s fixtures were released last month, there was a delay in knowing exactly when certain matches would take place.

It has now been confirmed that all but one of Liverpool’s league games in August and September will be shown live on TV.

The Reds’ opener at home to West Ham is on Sunday, August 12 at 1.30pm (BST), with Sky Sports on hosting duties for the curtain-raiser.

Jurgen Klopp‘s side then visit Crystal Palace for Sky’s Monday Night Football on August 20, with Jamie Carragher returning to punditry duties following his suspension.

BT Sport is showing Liverpool’s clash with Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield five days later, before trips to Leicester City and Tottenham are both on Sky in September.

Finally, the much-anticipated visit of Chelsea is on BT on September 29, meaning only the home game against Southampton is a Saturday 3pm game in that time.
