The 21-year-old made his return from injury on Monday, playing 45 minutes for the under-21s but could even leave the club this month.

Spanish newspaper Marca broke the news of a pre-contract agreement having been reached.

While Italian journalist Gianluca DiMarzio claims Milan will try to make the deal happen this month.

Both reports suggest a four-year contract with the Rossoneri for Suso.

Suso has made 21 appearances for the club so far, the majority of which arrived in the early months of Brendan Rodgers’ first season at the club. He spent last season on loan to La Liga side Almeria.

Liverpool signed him from Cadiz as a youngster in 2010.
