After beating Championship leaders Bournemouth 3-1 on Wednesday night to book themselves a place in the semi-final stage, the Reds were drawn out against Jose Mourinho’s side, who lead the Premier League table by three points from Manchester City.

Sky Sports will show both legs of the tie, with Liverpool hosting Chelsea at Anfield in the first leg on Tuesday, January 20th 2015 at 7:45pm.

Then it’s back to Stamford Bridge a week later for the second leg on Tuesday, January 27 — also a 7:45pm kick-off.

Chelsea beat Derby County 3-1 to book their place in the final four of the League Cup, with Liverpool’s on-loan youngster Jordon Ibe putting in an impressive performance for the Rams.

The last time Liverpool met Chelsea in the League Cup was back in 2011, when the Reds came out 2-0 winners in the 5th Round at Stamford Bridge. Maxi Rodriguez and Martin Kelly got the goals for Kenny Dalglish‘s team.

The other semi-final tie will see Tottenham take on Sheffield United after they beat Newcastle Utd and Southampton respectively.

The final, should Liverpool get through, takes place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, 1st March.
