Shortly after Jamie Carragher had received a standing ovation when he was substituted in the 88th minute of today’s 1-0 victory over Queen’s Park Rangers at Anfield, the Liverpool crowd sang a beautiful and loud rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone.
Carragher retired today, 16 years after making his debut for Liverpool with tributes before, during and after the match for the veteran Reds defender.
