Suarez scores four for Uruguay

Suarez four goals Uruguay

Luis Suarez scored four goals for Uruguay as they beat Chile 4-0 on Friday night in the third round of the South American qualifiers for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Fellow Red Sebastian Coates was an unused sub for the South Americans.

The Liverpool forward was in scintillating form and had already hit the bar before he opened the scoring on 41 minutes. He then added a header either side of half-time to secure his hat-trick, before adding a fourth late on.

Afterwards, he said “What a great game! Very happy with the win and the 4 goals. This is a very important step for the classification! Thanks to my teammates and everyone for the support they always give me! Hugs to all!”
